⚙️ Settings That Now Do Something

These were all sitting in your config without being applied. They work now:

✨ New

• Update checker. Tells the console and your staff on join when a new release is out. The interval is configurable, or switch it off entirely
• Offline teleport locations persist. The teleport menu's offline list now survives a restart, stored in whichever backend you use
• Two more languages. French and Brazilian Portuguese join English and Spanish, and the Spanish file is complete again after drifting out of date
• Every config key is documented in the file itself, with a comment explaining what it does
• Your config survives updates. New keys merge in without touching your settings, your comments, or any custom keys you added

🛠 Fixes

• CPS alerts show the real number instead of printing {threshold} literally
• CPS alerts are fully translated on servers running a language other than English
• The duplicate report cooldown now tracks properly instead of starting empty on every restart
• atstaffmode.vanish, atstaffmode.reload and atstaffmode.alerts have declared defaults

🧹 Removed

• /staffmode-debug and its permission are gone. It did nothing. /freezedebug is unaffected
• messages.yml is gone. It was never loaded, and all text lives in lang/

📝 Upgrade Notes

Stop the server, replace the jar, and start it again. Your config is migrated in place, settings kept and new keys merged.

Two things to check afterwards, because both are live for the first time:

• cps.check-duration. The old shipped value was 10, and now that it is a real sampling window, a short burst gets averaged across ten seconds and barely moves cps.warning-threshold. Set it to 1 unless you specifically want smoothed readings
• freeze.quit-punishment. It never ran before, so confirm the commands are what you actually want before someone logs out

Comments only attach to keys newly added to your file, so an upgraded config has commented new sections and bare older ones. Delete config.yml and restart if you want the fully commented version.
