AT-MailBox | Never Lose Items Again v1.3.7
When a player's inventory is full, the overflow goes to a mailbox to claim later through a GUI.
v1.2.0
Compatibility
Changes
Two big bugs from the report are fixed, and you can now choose exactly which situations fill the mailbox.
🐛 Duplication Fixed
Clicking Claim All when you had room for only part of what was waiting used to hand you the fitting part but leave the whole stack marked unclaimed, so those items existed twice. Claiming now takes exactly what fits and leaves exactly the rest: claim 32 of 40 potatoes and the mailbox is left holding 8, not 40. The same fix applies when left-clicking a single item to claim it.
📦 Items Now Stack
Deliveries used to take a fresh slot each, so farming with a full inventory filled the mailbox one potato per slot. Deliveries of the same item now stack up to a full stack in the slot that's already there, and only spill into a new slot when that one fills.
- Items that expire and items that never expire stay in separate slots
- When two stacks merge, the slot keeps the earlier of the two expiry times, so nothing gets a longer life by being merged into
- Prefer one slot per delivery? Set
mailbox.stack-similar-items: false
Mailbox slots that already hold single items from before this update aren't merged retroactively. New deliveries will stack into them.
🎛 New: Trigger Switches
A new mailbox.triggers block in config.yml lets you turn each source of items on or off individually:
pickupnormal gameplay: farming, mining, mob loot, walking over items with a full inventorycommandsoverflow from a command run on the player:/give,/giveall, event handoutsplugin-rewardsitems other plugins hand out: crates, votes, quests, kitsapiother plugins delivering through AT-MailBox directly
Turning one off means those items behave as if AT-MailBox weren't installed at all, they stay on the ground, or are handled by whatever plugin produced them. Nothing is deleted.
Common setup: want the mailbox only for handouts, so it never interferes with farming? Set pickup: false and leave the other three on. Your bag keeps its value, and admin/plugin drops still land safely.
All four triggers default to true, so a server that changes nothing behaves exactly as 1.1.0 did, minus the two bugs. /mailbox admin deliver always reaches the mailbox regardless, so you can always hand an item on purpose. The existing capture-ground-drops remains the master switch for anything landing on the ground.
📦 Install
