zCollections | Collections & Rewards 1.2.0
A customizable collection system. Gather, discover, progress through tiers, and earn rewards.
A live action bar while players gather, placeholders that show what a collection is counting toward, and a tidier claim.
📢 An Action Bar While You Gather
One line above the hotbar, refreshed every time a player breaks or catches something, showing the collection progress for that exact item: the resource name, the current total, a bar, what is needed for the next tier, and how much they just gained.
With a jobs plugin installed, the same line also carries the job that just paid, the xp and the money, so everything about the block a player broke sits together in one place. Break something that counts for two collections and you still get one line, not two fighting each other.
progress-actionbar:
enabled: true
It ships off, so turn it on and reload. The bar itself is yours: length, filled and empty symbols, and both colours. The wording lives in your language file, and setting a line to '' hides that part.
Only one plugin can write to the action bar at a time. If your jobs plugin is still showing its own payment line there, the two will overwrite each other and blink. Switch its display off, or move it to chat, and let this line show both parts.
🔗 Placeholders That Show the Goal
A placeholder can now show what a collection is counting toward, not only the count, so a line reads 340/500 instead of just 340. Alongside _progress and _tier you now have _next, _remaining, _percent, _maxtier, _name and _category.
You can also name a block, a mob or a fish instead of a collection id, and the placeholder finds the right collection on its own:
%zcollections_block_cobblestone_progress%
%zcollections_entity_zombie_tier%
%zcollections_fish_cod_next%
Cobblestone is not a collection of its own, it belongs to stone, and it is resolved for you. That means one line can follow a player from mining to woodcutting to fishing without a single collection name typed by hand.
- A finished collection reads
MAXrather than a stray number - A block no collection counts comes back empty, so the line goes quiet instead of showing a zero
_nameuses your own collection names from your language file
Nothing you already wrote changed. The old placeholders work exactly as before.
🎁 A Tidier Claim
Claim All prints one tidy block in chat: a header line, then one line per tier showing the tier and the reward it paid, so a player sees exactly what they just claimed. Rewards and tiers used to be listed separately, which said the same thing twice.
The global Claim All button now lives on the main page only, rather than also appearing inside resource menus.
🖥 Menu Control
- Pin an inline resource to an exact slot. A resource inside an
inline: truecollection can take its ownslot:andpage:, exactly like a collection does. Resources with no slot keep auto-filling around the ones you placed - Hide the close button per menu. Set
close-button.enabled: falseon any menu inmenus.ymland players close it with Esc as usual. On by default - Back goes where you expect. Opening a resource from an inline category and pressing Back now returns straight to the main page, instead of stopping at an in-between menu first
