AI-Generated Content Policy

AI generation is developing and being regulated quickly. We are watching the space and may revise this policy as things become clearer.

What's allowed

• AI assistance in development. You may use AI tools to help write, debug, or improve the code in your plugins, configurations, and similar products, as long as the result is genuinely your own work, you understand and stand behind it, and you hold the rights to everything it contains.

• AI assistance with media and descriptions. You may use AI tools to help create or improve your listing materials, such as cover images and descriptions, as long as the result is high quality and accurately represents the product.

What's not allowed

• AI slop. Blatant, low-effort AI output is not acceptable anywhere, whether as a thumbnail, in your media, or as the product itself. Using AI to assist genuinely high-quality work is fine. Shipping raw, low-effort AI output is not.

• AI used to disguise stolen or leaked content. You may not use AI to alter content you do not own so that it looks original, or to get around our piracy protections, for example running a leaked plugin through an AI tool to pass it off as your own, or restyling someone else's texture pack and reselling it as yours.

Enforcement

Listings made up of low-effort AI slop, or that misuse AI to disguise content you do not own, will be removed. Serious or repeated violations can also lead to account suspension or a permanent ban.

New submissions are also reviewed before they go live, so a product that breaks this policy can be declined at review with a note explaining what is not allowed.
